A little over a month ago, a new class of PA students walked onto the GW Foggy Bottom Campus, and on June 28, they took another major step in their professional aspirations by donning short white coats during convocation.
Friends and family cheered and wiped away tears as members of the George Washington University (GW) Physician Assistant (P.A.) Class of 2017 donned long coats of dazzling white — a symbol of their transition from students to medical professionals.
As most of Washington, D.C., slept during the early hours of Jan. 20, a group of School of Medicine and Health Sciences students made their way to the National Mall to assist with medical aid at the Presidential Inauguration.
